Top Carp Action at Todber Manor Dorset

As the mild September whether continues, so does the fantastic sport at one of Dorset’s premier day ticket venues, Todber Manor fisheries in Sturminster Newton.

The multi lake venue, known for it’s good head of decent sized fish and one of the only places in the area to catch specimen Cat’s, has seen some excellent catches over the last week or so.

James Ellerton spent a whole week on Big Hayes and caught 101 carp including 15 over 20lb. James fished CC Moore Pacific Tuna boilies over a bed of matching free offerings, and caught fish to 29lb 9oz.

Also on the same lake, Sean Dawson banked 23 carp topped by a 30lb 12oz mirror and Geoff Warren landed 14 carp to 21lb 8oz.

Mark Brand fished the Paddock lake and banked a 31lb 6oz common carp and a 52lb 14oz catfish. James Henniker Parker also fished Paddock and landed common carp of 24lb 5oz and 20lb 2oz.
Over on Willow Bank, Steve Hill caught two carp topped by a 20lb 4oz ghost mirror, and Andrew Bailey had a cracking 22lb 8oz mirror. Jack Gould and Luke Pugsley put in two nights on Wadmill and caught more than 40 carp to 17lb between them.
