CarpCraft – Fancy A Spot Of Virtual Carp Fishing?

If you’re not tied up with Pokemon Go and you enjoy your apps and your fishing, then the CarpCraft android app, might just be for you.

According to the developers, it’s a real time 24 hour, 7 days a week fishing app…. That could give you a bite at any time.

They write:

There are 14 species of fish for you to try and catch in our carp fishing game including Leather carp, Common carp, Crucian Carp, Mirror Carp, Ghost Carp, Linear Carp, Koi Carp, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Eel, Catfish

Fish with up to 4 rods and wait for a bite, will it be a screamer? Will you get a run at 2am? Everything is possible with the most realistic fishing simulator on Android a true mobile fishing game.

Unfortunately I don’t have android and I’ve yet to see whether it’s available on IOS but I couldn’t imagine sitting down to dinner, doing an interview, watching a movie or having a few beers with my friends, in the knowledge that any moment, my virtual bite alarm might go off and I might have to land and eel.

What would be even funnier is if you were actually fishing for real…. sat in your Bivvy, with a cup of tea, only to get a run on your app and a run on your rod at the same time.

If anybody has played it, let us know what you think. Although it might not be a good idea to post your virtual catches on social media
